Thomas covenant the unbeliever5/30/2023 But I am glad to know there are people who have read it and shared the struggle of a story that it is. Or that they caused so much anger and bad memories for so baby people. Is it as hard for you to read at times as it is for me? Do you find yourself reading chapter after chapter uncontrollably? What do you think the the development of Thomas throughout the first 2 books?Įdit: I didn't realize that these books were that popular when they came out. I really like these books and want to hear your thoughts on it as well. The prose is a touch wooden in places, but fans of quirky fantasy will eat it up. Without spoiling anything, I love how vividly the author describes the landscape, and how vividly he describes Thomas.īut sometimes it gets a little tough to read. Linus himself is a lovable protagonist despite his prickliness, and Klune aptly handles his evolving feelings and morals. I absolutely love the concept that he is bouncing between worlds and the reader can't tell which is real. I want to find someone that is reading or has read them for discussion and theories. I've started reading this series and I love it so much, however no one I know has read or even heard of these wonderful books.

He was once approached with a offer to create a strip featuring the character of a robot with a propeller on his head, which had a huge licensing program planned with plush toys. At some point, he picked up a job designing advertisements, which he supposedly "detested".ĭuring this time, he turned his attention to being a self-employed cartoonist. Midnight sun book by trish cook5/30/2023 The pacing seemed well chosen for the progression of the story and never seemed too rushed. The characters were cute and relatable teens with dreams and aspirations of how they and their love might change the world. Admittedly, there were some rather cringey exchanges at times, but I never took them too seriously and therefore could laugh through them. I guess this is one of the rare occasions where you wouldn’t have to read the book before watching the movie?
